    The hotel was recently refurbished so I imagine the other review was for its previous incarnation. Now its wonderfully decorated. Owner very accommodating and resolved an issue that I had made with the booking. Breakfast was lovely and overall the stay as great value for money

    Modern Pub with large restaurant with typical menu but disappointing if you are a veggie.
    Liked the Gin Shed which has 35 to choose from. Smallish seating area with working fireplace and comfy sofas.

    We called in for lunch as we happened to be in the area and therefore don't know what it was like before the refurbishment but now it is excellent. Good food, comfortable surroundings and welcoming staff. Wish we lived closer as we would definitely go back!
